Mayan Calender

1. Numerology

In numerology every number has a corresponding letter associated with it. The date 12-21-12 reads as, A-B-B-A-A-B. When you consider that the Hebrew language is read from right to left, this date would read BA ABBA.

The Hebrew translation for BA ABBA is “Father comes / is coming”

2. 2012 is claimed to be a great year of spiritual transformation (or apocalypse). Many esoteric sources interpret the completion of the twelfth B’ak’tun cycle in the Long Count of the Maya calendar (which occurs on December 21 by the most widely held correlation) to mean there will be a major change in world order.

3. Several experts have predicted a special astrological/astronomical alignment between the Galactic center in the constellation of Sagittarius, the Winter Solstice point, and the open cluster of the Pleiades. Factually, the coincidence of the Winter Solstice point (due to the precession of the Equinoxes) and the galactic center is basically true.

4. Jesus said that no man knows the hour or the day of the End of Days. Even Jesus didn’t know. Only his father did.

But Jesus added that he hoped that those who will live in the Final Generation would look for the signs in the hope their suffering would not be so great.

5. Albert Einstein said if the honey bees were suddenly gone mankind would have about 4 years left to live. Well, the honey bees are going extinct now and at the present rate in another year or so there will be no more honey bees left on earth. One year from now plus another 4 years gives us the year 2012.

6. NASA predicts that the Sun will also reverse its own magnetic poles during 2012 as result of reaching the end of current 11-year sunspot cycle. Some believe this will amplify the effects of retarding magnetic field on earth, as harmful charged particles blasted away from the sun would more easily penetrate the earth’s atmosphere.

7. In this final episode of the X-Files, it is revealed that on December 22 2012, aliens will invade and take over the world, one day after December 21 2012. It was like Chris Carter was saying to us that the aliens don’t need to invade and conquer us, all they need to do is move in to a vacant earth.

8. The Vatican holds very closely to the Prophecy of St. Malachy. This Medieval Monk had detailed visions of 112 Popes until Doomsday, also known as The Biblical Apocalypse. The current Pope, Benedict XVI is the 111th named Pope, only one Pope remains.

9. The Times News Network predicts that global financial markets will crash in 2012.

11. The 2012 Olympics will be held in that great city of the World, London.

12. NASA predicts that a great meteor will narrowly miss the earth in 2012.

13. When viewed from above, the layout of the three Giza Pyramids in Egypt coincides with the shape that will be assumed by the three stars which make up the belt of the constellation Orion on December 21, 2012.

14. An elder of the New Zealand Maori reports that the Maoris have taught for centuries that the great curtain over the world will be “torn” in 2012.

15. Some sources (e.g., author Jay Weidner in his book A Monument to the End of Time: Alchemy, Fulcanelli and the Great Cross) report that Peruvian Shamans are looking forward to the return of Pacha Cuti in 2012. Pacha Cuti is expected to be the once and future emperor of the world.

16. Regardless of whether one believes Nostradamus possessed a window into the future, in his Lost Book, he predicts that a comet–called “Doomsday” or “King of Terror” depending upon the translation one reads–will strike the earth in 2012.

17. The Prophecy of the Popes, published in 1595 and attributed to Saint Malachy,
is a list of 112 short phrases in Latin. They purport to describe each of the
Roman Catholic popes (along with a few anti-popes), beginning with Pope Celestine II (elected in 1143) and concluding with a later added pope described in the prophecy as “Peter the Roman”, whose pontificate will end in the destruction of the city of Rome, which I turn will be the domino to the destruction of the world.

It is important to note that according to the Prophecy of the Popes, Peter the Roman—i.e., the “last pope”—will ascend after the death of the current pope, Pope Benedict XVI. In other words, there is “scheduled” to be one more pope, under whom the world will end.

18. The Bible Code predicts a solar-flare or comet holocaust in the year 2012. As more fully described at the great website, The Bible Code predicts a 2012 extinction type event, relying on the cannonical verses of Revelation 16:8-9.

19. The mysterious Cross at Hendaye bears engravings that support the 2012-Galactic Cross end of time theory espoused by researchers of the Mayan long ocunt calendar and the “shape” of the Giza pyramids.

20. Nostradamus Predictions :

Nostradamus wrote his prophecies in a poetic style, in “quatrains.” He made many accurate forecasts which includes the two World Wars( WWI, WW II) of his 950 quatrains refer to a third world war. Many of his prophecies dealt with disaster such as plagues, earthquakes, wars, floods and the coming of three antichrists.

Some Nostradamus experts had given the date for the start of such a war as mid-1999, referring to the Balkan conflict surrounding Kosovo. They obviously misinterpreted the quatrains. Their attention then turned to the 11 September 2001 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center in New York. He is best known for his book Les Propheties.

21. World Oil Consumption is beginning to peak through the abuse and misuse of the earth’s natural resources, and it is predicted that oil consumption will peak in 2012.

This “peaking” of energy demand will, according the Indian version of The Wall-Street Journal, coincide with a collapse of the global finacial markets.

22. A prominent Harvard economist predicts that global liquidity in emerging markets will dry up in 2012.

23. History Channel The world is coming to an end on December 21, 2012!

The Ancient Mayans made this stunning prediction more than 2,000 years ago. We’ll peel back the layers of mystery and examine in detail how the Maya calculated the exact date of doomsday. Journey back to the ancient city of Chichen Itza, the hub of Maya civilization deep in the heart of Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula, to uncover the truth about this prophecy. The Maya were legendary astronomers and timekeepers–their calendar is more accurate than our own. By tracking the stars and planets they assigned great meaning to astronomical phenomena and made extraordinary predictions based on them–many of which have come true. Could their doomsday prophecy be one of them? In insightful interviews archaeologists, astrologers, and historians speculate on the meaning of the 2012 prophecy. Their answers are as intriguing as the questions.
